About the Slalom Course

The Big Bear Lake Ski Club was founded in 2014 under the provisions of USA Water Ski. We enjoy the beauty that Big Bear Lake has to offer, most especially water skiing on our pristine mountain lake.  We operate our slalom course on the North Shore adjacent to Juniper Point under a special use permit from the Big Bear Lake Municipal Water District.

We welcome newcomers and guests.   We do ask that if you are going to use the course on a regular basis that you join the club to help with maintenance and upkeep.   Also, if you are not familiar with the slalom course, please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.  We are happy to help with navigation, driving and skiing instruction.   Inboard boats are preferred as they do not interfere with the infrastructure of the floating course – and so the course won’t interfere with the infrastructure of your boat.  We appreciate your understanding.

Our goal is to promote the sport of water skiing in Big Bear along with sharing the lake with other water sports enthusiasts.
